About

Since you have to be quiet to go birding and near nice places to go backpacking, and neither of those things are in the cards right now, I turn to my next biggest hobby: making 2 dimensional things into 3 dimensional ones. Cardstock, paper, fabric, yarn, leather--anything goes. I like making 3D things 2D, too, in the form of photography and squashing pennies on train tracks. Heck, I'll even dabble in the dimension changes from the first to the second, in the form of knitting and crochet. I figured a crafty blog would be a good way to share any trials & tribulations, strokes of genius & successes, finished edges & seam ripping that occur as I improvise my way through this world of textiles. And more.
